This is estimated to be a 2 year campaign, taking you from lvl 1-20+ I realize schedules can change as the months pass, so this is just for sign up and establishing a day to play.

A fun but very challenging campaign. I have tried playing it as well as running it. A balanced party is a must have. As one you begin you are stuck in the dungeon. A cleric is needed as even in the first section thing can go from bad to deadly very quickly, the massive amount of traps and hidden sections require a top notch rogue and wizards and druids are gimped.
I would love to play, and I think to give the party a true shot at survival that using pathfinder is a good idea. Willing to help with any conversions that are needed.

I am willing to play what our party lacks. If that means, eww, the cleric I can do that. Honestly though would rather play the rogue or mage. Hmmm wonder if there is a way to do all three.

im down but i might have to come in later seeing as how in September i'm leaving for japan. i Call the rouge. or if we dont start till after i leave then ill play a monk when i get back. i hat spell casters.

Yeah, I can play something else. Probably a mage. As it is the Dungeon a wizard is limped. Put me down for the caster I will just have to talk to the DM about a few things before making a final choice.

A lot of what I've been reading suggests having pcs start around 3-4 instead of 1. I might do this, I'm not sure yet.

That would help quite a bit, an old group I played in even did the gestalt variant and that helped. Everyone take cleric for the other side. From what I have seen, healing and spell acquisition are the two main issues. There is no town to go back to so you have to be able to deal with quite a bit with few resources and loot tends to need to given out based on maximum usage rather than just coolness factor.
That aside, my question for a master would be how would he gain spells? For the wizard I have in mind my build is looking at 3 classes, wizard, master specialist and initiate of the sevenfold veils. As a specialist I would give up evocation, and enchantment schools. This means I wouldn't be doing a lot of direct damage but is compensated by save or dies and protection for the whole party.
